Vicenza is a very special, transformative place in which Prof. Ronco and his team created a stimulating environment with international flair. Intermingled with the elements of my nephrology knowledge, Prof. Ronco and his team coalesced my medical and research training around real life and people. What has emerged is a valuable network of research, teaching and most important friendship.
