Impressions and comments
I came to Vicenza in July 2007 with my wife Cindy, and two children Jessica and Michael, ages 11 and 9.  We spent six months here, and found the people of Vicenza, and the group at San Bortolo Hospital, to be very warm and welcoming.  Vicenza is a fantastic city, perfectly located between the sea and the mountains, easily accessible by train, with a beautiful Centro Storico.  The hospital is very well equipped, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Anna and Ilaria.  Professor Ronco is an inspiring figurehead, full of ideas and enthusiasm, and an unsurpassed knowledge of nephrology.
If you are visiting, give my best regards to Ciro and Rosa (best coffee in all of Italy)!
